Private Server Information

New Private Server Features •Added kickban - command is now available to server owners and server ops •Added banlist - command is now available to server owners and server ops •Added unban - command is now available to server owners and server ops •Added stopserver - command is now available to server owners •Added opsay - command is now available to server owners and server ops •Added Admin PassVote - Server owners and server ops may vote on their own callvote to instantly pass the vote. This allows owners and ops to force map switches.

Commands

cg_ImpactSparks 1 - Shows little sparks when you do damage.

cg_ImpactSparksLifeTime 1000 - How long the sparks stay on sight(in milliseconds).

cg_ImpactSparksSize 16 - Increases how big the sparks are.

cg_ClanOnTeamOverlay 0 - Shows the clan Tag on the Team OverLay, 0 Turns it off.

cg_DrawFullWeaponBar 1 - Shows every weapon in the arena, instead of, just the ones you have at the time.

cg_DrawItemPickUps 1,3,7 - 1: Shows an icon of what you picked up. 2: Shows an icon + The name 3: Shows an icon + The name AND the Time of when it was picked up.

Notes:

Hitbox Changes - We fully expect there to be a required adjustment period for most players. Some players may find the change subtle and adjust quickly while others may need 3-7 days to adjust. Once adjusted you should find that the new hitbox provides a more consistent game play experience, it will be slightly easier to dodge and hitting other players can feel more rewarding.

Increased Server Framerate - In addition to providing a smoother gameplay experience, the increased server framerate also addresses an issue that was occurring with the lightninggun. The lightinggun will now fire at a consistent rate, something that was not possible (with great precision) under the previous server settings. You may notice that the LG will sound 'better' when hitting consecutive shots, rather than the hitbeeps sounding staggered.

True Vertexlighting - The new style of vertexlighting present in the maps updated this evening more closely resemble the Quake III Arena style of vertexlight. No lightmap data is referenced, so all shadowing is removed from the level. The end result will be a fairly brighter look and if your visuals have been configured for the other maps you may need to adjust your r_gamma, r_mapoverbrightbits, r_intensity, and r_constrast to find acceptable settings. While currently only present on these maps, the plan moving forward is that all maps will have true vertexlighting when in vertex light mode.

Clan Practice

Hello everyone, clan practice nights are now up, Monday 8:30pm - 9:30pm is CTF --- Wednesday, 8:30pm - 9:30pm is CA --- Friday, 8:30pm - 9:30pm is TDM.

I advise you all to come and participate as we need practice.

How to wacht demo's: This is easy, go to your C:\Documents and Settings\Haydy\Application Data\id Software\quakelive\home\baseq3\demos Next, Re-name the demo's (must have .dm_73 after the name), after this you go into a practice match and type in console "demo demonamehere", the command to fast forward is, timescale -1 - 5 - allows good slow motion and fairly quick to go through bits you don't need, you can also go over 5 but it can become 2 quick.

How to send demo's: Firstly, you need to upload the demo's to get a link to send, i use evilshare but other people use megauploader. Go into your demo folder Find the demo you want to send in my case it's "TheName.dm_73", after that, You may find some in there, up-to then 3 or 4 sick shots in each video (I'm after, Mid air's (1,2,3 or 4), Flick rails, Nice lg and pg hold ups, quad runs and more, no normal frags). Then Send the demo(s) to : hd1995@live.com like this layout:

• Name: Krackles

• Time of frag: 7:45

• Attached demo: whateverthenameis

• Music i'd Prefer: sex on the beach - beach boys

After that Sit back and wait till you get more demo's, then do the same, i'm going to need about 30-40 frags EACH, I also need music around 6-8minutes. Good Luck and Have Fun.
